Message of Fernando Jorge Maldonado Ferreira Lópes

Fernando Jorge Maldonado Ferreira Lópes
General Secretary
Plenipotentiary Roving Ambassador
World Organizatión for Peace
Organización Mundial por la Paz
Portugal

From a position of deep concern, I begin by stating that only political leadership, with mercy, can swiftly restore peace, bring sanity to the world, and end the violent conflict between neighbouring peoples who should see each other as brothers, not mortal enemies.
Please stop attacking each other, please re-establish international relationships, please focus on your own internal issues, please choose Progress, investing in Innovation, Creativeness, Development, bringing well fare to all the countries. This is the right path to a well succeeded Nation to be proud and satisfied. To be able to provide real conditions to increase happiness and prosperity to the citizen, Freedom, Healthcare, High Education in a secure peaceful long term environment.

We genuinely feel that we are all beloved children of God, regardless of where we were born or the beliefs we hold. My definition of any war is simple: brothers killing brothers.

I sincerely hope our humble appeal deeply touches those with the power to bring an end, once and for all, to the destruction and violence that result in constant loss of human lifes.
The role of World Ambassador of Peace represents the voice and echoes the sentiments of global peaceful citizens, delivering them directly to national leaders.
Our words, our desires, and the widespread appeal of the masses to presidents, prime ministers, and royal figures all call for global collaboration to avoid catastrophe before it is too late.

The majority of the world’s population has a simple request: to preserve a normal, free, democratic society where each individual can determine their own future in peace, harmony, and prosperity.
The billions of people we represent have the right and the power to demand from the political sphere the swift restoration of order, understanding, collaboration, and goodwill between nations. To these leaders, we shout loudly, to ensure we are heard. The motto should be:

"LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOUR!"
Not, "Kill him if necessary."
As we all witness the horrific destruction of entire countries, cities vanishing from the map, and the continuous deaths of thousands of civilians and soldiers, it seems their sacrifices have lost meaning. Death has become nothing more than a number in daily statistics to feed the media.
Each of them had a mother, a father, a spouse, children, and friends who now mourn their absence.
Whether civilian or soldier, both are human beings. Both have families. Both leave behind sadness and grief for those who loved them.

Before any military operation is carried out, casualty estimates and objectives are carefully considered. Yet this time, all predictions have proven wrong. This leads me to offer advice to all parties: any military operation that drags on too long risks defeat. It is time to reach an agreement and bring an end to this suffering.

We strongly believe that politicians possess a conscience and are fully aware that history will judge their actions, whether good or not.

After all, like us, politicians are human. But by continuing to send others to kill or die, to fight a neighbour, a brother separated by a mere line on a map, they risk losing their humanity.
Each leader, if they remain true to their electoral oath to serve their country and be loyal servants of their people, must feel the weight of too many lives lost—even if they choose not to dwell on it. Sadly, many more will meet the same fate before we see the light at the end of the tunnel. These losses will forever weigh on the consciences of those responsible.

We analyse each event, each grim piece of news from conflict zones. It is a fact that, if the violence and destruction continue, soon entire countries may be reduced to dust. Please find a peaceful solution before it is too late.

The world urgently needs a resolution to these conflicts. If international leaders continue to "help" warring countries by adding fuel to the fire, military operations on all sides will continue indefinitely, and peace will never be restored.

The next step would be to throw gasoline onto the fire, motivating an escalation that could lead to the loss of an entire generation. How is it possible, in our time, to see this continue? After World War II, all leaders should have learned something—but unfortunately, it seems not. Lessons once learned have been forgotten.

History is repeating itself. We are approaching a pre-World War III scenario—the prelude to a conflict that could devastate the planet once and for all. Either we find a way to reach the world’s leaders and stop this nightmare immediately and permanently, or soon someone will launch the first nuclear weapon, and only a few will see the day after tomorrow.

The World Organisation for Peace (WOFP) is independent and entirely neutral. Our main concern is ensuring that all conditions necessary for lasting peace are maintained globally. We aim to prevent and help resolve any conflict or misunderstanding between national leaders that could lead to further wars on our suffering planet.

Our world, our most precious heritage, is at risk of total collapse. What will be left for future generations?
The current conflicts not only jeopardise international relationships but also deplete national budgets, diverting funds to weapons and ammunition rather than investing in education, healthcare, and improving the quality of life for citizens.

For too long, we have seen our fragile society decline, teetering on the edge of a precipice from which there may be no return.
Humbly, anxiously, and anguished, the majority of souls around the world—regardless of their location, religion, or politics—are united in prayer for wisdom and goodwill between nations. We trust that all involved will heed the voice of reason. We pray to quickly see implemented a fair peaceful solution.
We have long-term, respectful relationships with all the countries currently in border conflicts, but it is becoming increasingly difficult to maintain neutrality face to the incredibly high numbers of civilian casualties.

Each morning, we hear from each intervenient, the news of more lives lost during the night. Buildings—both civilian and military—reduced to rubble. Perhaps more friends and dear colleagues are gone forever.

Taking last night, for example: we lost three illustrious Brothers—humble, dedicated professors of the highest calibre, incredible human beings. With every good teacher we lose, the world becomes poorer.
Now imagine those innocent souls in conflict zones, living under the constant terror of being killed alongside their loved ones, as heavy bombardment rains down—a fear shared by millions during the Second World War. At least they had bunkers to hide in.
It is a sorrowful time when words lose their power and violence and mass destruction become the only language spoken.

Tragically, given the current international stance, there appears to be no end in sight for military operations. The conflict is escalating daily, threatening a future where there may be no tomorrow.
Even if, by some stroke of optimism, the violence ceases, and all hostilities come to an end, what lies ahead? Who will help rebuild the cities, restore government facilities, repair roads, and replace hospitals and schools?
Many are displaced, many have lost their homes. But they once had solid homes to return to. When will war reparations begin? When will the legitimacy of actions taken be restored?
Even with peace and international cooperation, it will take years to rebuild these shattered cities. We must start as soon as possible—winter is approaching, and many displaced people need homes.

May God grant international leaders the wisdom and mercy to act with compassion toward their neighbours.

Thank you. The world has spoken.

PEACE is our plea. LOVE, when possible.
